Mark Mariscal Held it down for the Home team, pitching all 7.0 innings giving up only one hit and no RBIs. However, a run in the 5th came off of what the fans would say as a controversial Balk call that allowed the runner on 3rd still score making the difference. Overall, Mariscal finished with 7.0IP, 1H, 1ER and 3K’s.
Mariscal Also found a way on offense, flexing his plate vision by drawing 2 walks in the 2nd and 4th innings, whilst Isaac Flounroy courtesy ran both times.

On the rest of the offensive side, they were so close yet so far, having 3 chances to score in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th innings. In the 2nd and 4th they had runners on 2nd and 3rd but unfortunately led to Beto Chaires Striking out both times to end those innings and Raul Lomas and Mark Mariscal striking out with a runner on 3rd in the 6th.

The game ended on back to back fly balls to left that were INCHES away from a game tying home run but were caught at the wall, and a strikeout for Midway to eliminate Duncanville and get the sweep. The Panthers of midway won both games, game one being 10-3 and game 2 with a final score of 1-0.
