Student Council wins sweepstakes

The Duncanville High School Student Council received its 22nd consecutive Sweepstakes Award at the District Conference on February 24.
Sweepstakes is earned when a student council is recognized as outstanding in all five Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) project areas: Outstanding Student Council, Community Service, D.A.S.H. (Drug, Alcohol, Safety, and Health issues), Energy & Environment and Pride & Patriotism.
The Student Council’s scrapbook placed 3rd. Madison Cooper was one of five seniors at the conference to receive a $750 scholarship. Duncanville is a member of TASC District 3, which is comprised of more than 200 schools in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
