Ms. Rojas

Dolores Rojas is part of the Health Profession Career department. In her words, educators in the program are, “trying to turn as many kids into medical professionals…so any field in psychology, nursing, doctoral.” Rojas has been teaching for 30 years (16 in Duncanville High School). She has always been a Biology and Anatomy teacher and jumped at the opportunity to work with kids that want to become a medical professional. Rojas keeps her students motivated to learn and stay active in class by having a lot of hands on activities, such as dissecting and playing interactive games with the class. Overall, Rojas attempts to make kids enjoy every day spent in her classroom.
