Panthers Roll Over Jaguars 49-0

DUNCANVILLE – Running back Trysten Smith rushed for two touchdowns including a 24-yard run in the first quarter to lead Duncanville over Molina 49-0.

Smith and the starters only played the first quarter, but in that short time period, they scored five times, including a 33-yard interception that was returned for a touchdown by defensive back Christopher Thompson.

Duncanville (10-0, 7-0 in 8-6A) finishes the season undefeated and will move on to play South Grand Prairie in the first round of the 6A Division I playoffs. The date and location are still to be determined. Molina finishes the year 1-9 overall and 0-7 in the district.

The game was played with a running clock after the first quarter.
