An estimated 500 high school girls and boys who have made a pledge to stay sober on prom night will gather on Saturday, February 28 to attend workshops designed to promote healthy behavior, enjoy a fashion show and select a free prom gown or tuxedo.
The goal of the BuzzFree PROMises Dress and Tux Giveaway to prevent and reduce underage drinking, driving under the influence and other drug use. BuzzFree PROMises Dress and Tuxedo Giveaway partners with area school districts and community sponsors each year to put on the event.
All junior and senior students from Duncanville High School are invited to attend. The event will be held at Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy, 1700 E. Camp Wisdom Road, Dallas.
