TV, webcast schedule for UIL girls state basketball tournament
FOX Sports Southwest, FOX Sports Houston and Time Warner Cable will combine to televise and webcast UIL boys and girls basketball state tournament games from the Erwin Center in Austin beginning next week.
Coverage tips off with the girls tournament on March 1-3 and continues with the boys tournament on March 8-10.
FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston will televise the boys and girls 5A title games, while Time Warner Cable will broadcast boys and girls 1A-5A semifinal contests and 1A-4A championship games on the Texas Channel. Games on the Texas Channel also will be webcast on FoxSportsSouthwest.com and FoxSportsHouston.com.
In some markets the 5A boys and girls finals will be distributed on FOX Sports Southwest Plus and FOX Sports Houston Plus due to NBA programming conflicts on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston.
The Texas Channel is available to Time Warner Cable digital cable customers in Austin (Channel 888), Corpus Christi (Channel 888), Dallas (Channel 185), El Paso (Channel 24), Laredo (Channel 888), the Rio Grande Valley (Channel 888), San Antonio (Channel 888), and Waco-Temple-Killeen (Channel 888).

Lincoln Rose (play-by-play), Ashton Benford (analyst) and Neil Raphael will call the girls games for the Texas Channel, while Rose, Raphael and J.D. Lewis (analyst) will work the boys games.
Rose and Raphael also will call the girls 5A title game on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston. Former Baylor coach Jim Haller (analyst) will join Rose on the boys 5A championship telecast.
