While parents are visiting with teachers Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. the library is hosting a carnival for the family
“The event will feature a bounce house, an iPad station for kids to play on and even a book walk,” librarian Blanca Patlan said. “The event is free for students, parents and staff.”
The event will also have popcorn, lemonade and other treats for those attending. Those attending will also get an opportunity to win free books.
“The book walk is exciting and is similar to a cake walk but instead of a cake, you get a free book,” Patlan said.
There will also be music provided by DJ Theo.
“If you are needing community service hours you can see a librarian to take advantage of this opportunity to serve the community,” Patlan said.
There will also be face painting and much more at the carnival as well.
