This Madden probably has the best gameplay, however it still has flaws as a whole.  For those aggravated with Madden 12 players no the linebackers don’t jump 100 feet in the air as the previous ones did.  The gameplay for the play now mode has improved however there isn’t much freedom to do besides play now since there is no offline fantasy franchise unless your system is connected to an online server. Which is kind of disappointing given the fact that the only way to enjoy this game means you have to be playing online on the system of your choice.

Some of the new game modes include connected careers in which you’re able to control a few variety of Legends and use them as a superstar mode. However this a downfall side for you offline users since the only way to get the Legends in the connected careers game mode is off another mode known as Madden Ultimate Team which you have to be an online user to use.  Now to the gameplay the gameplay has improved with no more rocket catching which was annoying to most users from Madden 12. There is almost a more realistic feeling as far as the tackling and big hits area go. Where the game went downhill was after the play there would be players’ glitching through one another and tripping and falling – and is kind of funny.

Compared to the previous Madden this one has the clear advantages all the way around from tackling to the juking. The EA developers also spent some extra needed time on how the players look since they look realistic now. As far as outside responses go this game receives plenty of mixed reviewers which I totally under stand why. I personally enjoyed the game when I did play it however it doesn’t have the playability factor as the previous maddens had although the updated roster’s due help.

For those of you out there interested in a new sports game and you prefer football over basketball I would try this out before you buy it since I still believe 2k13 is a better overall game.  But if you can find this for under 30$ then it is a must have compared to anything else you could get for that price. But I don’t know you may be like me and enjoy the game just as I did.
