Tonight The Lady Panthers will face Mansfield Legacy in their last home game of the season. For the majority of the team, which consist of seniors, it will be their last game on that field.
Duncanville came out on top 1-0 in their last game, against Mansfield Timberview, Wednesday night in a crucial win for the team’s playoff aspirations.
The sole goal came at the 33rd minute of the second half by Senior Lizeth Cavazos. The girls won relatively easily, despite the low score.
Timberview was providing many open spaces which the Duncanville midfield took advantage of to feed several passes to the forwards. While they team couldn’t finish, they penetrated the box consistently through out the game.
Now in the the final games of the season, the girls will need to pull out with wins by any margin. Kick off is at 8 p.m.
